A Written Plan Will Help You to Lose Weight

Learn The Secret To Losing A Pound A Day"

By not keeping a written record of your weight loss plan, losing weight is going to be difficult. Your plan needs various aspects to it. A plan also needs to be properly written down, and not just remain floating around somewhere in your head.

The first step and most important step in your weight loss plan is to decide why you want to lose weight. A lot of people will feel that the answer to this question is obvious. The motivation to lose weight will decrease unless you have powerful reasons to do so.

Most people would say that they want to lose weight because they don’t like the way that they look and leave it at that. This is not strong enough to reach your target. You will want to dig a little deeper if this is the reason. It is also important that you write everything down.

What do you dislike about yourself? What particular areas are you referring to. Is it really because you don't like what you see, or is it because you think others don't like the way you look? It maybe because you don't like the clothes that you wear? Is it because it is affecting your relationships or you have trouble getting relationships?

Can you where I am going with this? This probably won't be pleasant, but it needs to be done. The reason why this is important is because you need to get to the root of a problem before you can attempt to fix it. Just saying that you are not happy with how you look is just a vague sort of statement.

This exercise may leave you feeling a little low. Let's proceed. Then move on to writing how you would prefer to see yourself. Once again you need to put this on paper.

How would you like to dress? What level of weight would you like to get down to? How thin would you like to be around your waist? What other body measurements do you want to have. Will your relationships be better? What could you do after reaching your goals that you can't do now?

Write in depth answers to these questions, and any others that you can think of off your own back. This can come across as being pointless to many people. Your thoughts on losing weight will start to change if you do this. Your goals will be more vivid, and this will help your motivation.

The reason writing is important is because thoughts on their own are not real physical objects. You will have experienced countless ones over a few days, but how many actually stick in your memory? When you write stuff down, it becomes real. It is clearly written down on paper. It is a route to follow. A plan if you like. What we read can have a great influence on us. Try to read your plan on a daily basis and it will soon become lodged in your mind.

In conclusion the first step in losing weight is to write it down. By not doing this you will end up like so many others that have tried. Back where you were in the beginning before long.
