* Buy some weights so you can start doing some effective shoulder presses. Get started by pushing the weight upwards and then dropping them back slowly to your shoulders and repeat.

* Hand pushes are effective exercises that work your triceps. Put your hands together and press them as hard as you can. Make sure you leave your hands at shoulder height and push against them as long as you can.

    Flappy skin on the upper arms is something many women over 40 like to work on. Some easy do-at-home triceps exercises (dumb bells for instance) will help, if done regularly. Weekend warriors don’t achieve much.
