3 Things for Natural Bodybuilders to Avoid

Many of us understand the need to get adequate rest but did you realize that sleeping eight hours a night may not necessarily be getting you all of the rest that you truly need. The reason why that is the case is because many of us tend to drink alcohol before going to bed and this can disrupt our sleep pattern. It may help us to feel relaxed and it seem as if we are drifting off to sleep naturally but in reality, it begins to disturb our sleep just a few hours after we hit the pillow. Skip the alcohol before going to sleep and you will sleep much better and wake more rested as a result.

Another thing that we need to avoid is too much unnatural protein. The muscle building magazines tell you that you need to be pounding these protein shakes regularly but in reality, it is the protein shakes that are paying their bills.

The fact of the matter is, it is not all that important for you to make sure that you are getting 1000 g of protein every day, or what ever it is that you are trying to achieve. If you get your protein through natural sources and make sure that you are eating plenty of raw food daily, you will grow.

Finally, it is important for us to make sure that we avoid many of the sports drinks that we tend to have regularly and to avoid the sugary drinks that we have altogether. Hydrating your body comes from drinking water and taking a little bit of salt with the water. Although we do get a little bit of hydration from these other drinks, the effects of them can be counterproductive in many ways. If you must drink them, compensate with additional water.
